Carom Trio Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Carom Trio (the "App") is developed by AytekEn Games, an independent developer based in Türkiye ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App uses, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. If you have any question, contact us at aytekinsenn@gmail.com.

We do not run our own servers or databases for the App. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising or tracking.

2. Information the App uses

Game progress and settings	Created while you play	Career level, experience points, online skill rating and level, match statistics and settings, so the App remembers your progress.
Leaderboard entries	Your match results	Your online rating, display name and country are written to Meta Horizon leaderboards so players can see the world rankings.
Online match data	Created during an online match	Ball, cue, head and hand positions, shots, clock and score are sent to your opponent so both players see the same game. Your display name, country, rating and level are shown to your opponent.
Technical and crash data	Your device	Basic diagnostics (device model, operating system version, crash reports) collected by Unity and Meta to keep the App stable.

We do not collect your email address, phone number, precise location, contacts or payment information.

3. Where information is stored

• On your headset: your profile, game progress and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Meta Horizon platform: your Meta account information and leaderboard entries are stored by Meta under the Meta Privacy Policy.
• Photon (Exit Games GmbH): online matches are connected through Photon's multiplayer service. Match data passes through Photon's servers only to reach your opponent. Photon processes your IP address to make the connection. See the Photon Privacy Policy.
• Unity Technologies: the App is built with Unity, which may collect technical diagnostics. See the Unity Player Privacy Policy.

4. Who can see your information

• Your opponent in an online match sees your display name, profile photo, country, rating, level and your in-game movements.
• Other players can see your display name, country and rating on the online leaderboards.
• Service providers listed in section 3, only to provide their services.
• Authorities, if required by law.

5. Your choices

• Profile: edit or clear your name and country in Options > Profile.
• Online play: online features are optional. You can play single-player and training without going online.
• Meta permissions: you can manage what the App can access through your Meta account settings.

6. Retention and deletion

Data stored on your headset is deleted when you uninstall the App. Leaderboard entries remain until the App's leaderboards are reset or you ask us to remove them. To request deletion of your leaderboard entries or to ask about any data related to you, email aytekinsenn@gmail.com with the subject "Data request". We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to its processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We rely on the security measures of Meta and Photon for data transmitted online. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we use these established services to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the App's store listing.
